The Onalaska Care Center is looking for a full-time Registered Dietitian / Clinical Dietician to work 30-40 hours a week (Day shift). The RD provides medical nutrition therapy to residents, provides staff with nutrition information relevant to resident care, and plans menus. Primary duties include:
- Conduct nutrition assessments of residents upon admission, quarterly, and as needed.
- Develop and update care plans for optimal nutritional and hydration status.
- Gather data from new residents regarding meal preferences and diet histories.
- Write menus and extensions taking into consideration marketing conditions, costs, and variety.
- Present educational programs to the Dietary department or to all Onalaska Care Center staff as assigned.
- Conduct Quality Assurance studies as assigned.
