Dining / Kitchen Supervisor (BSJ Care Center)
We are looking for an energetic and reliable individual to supervise staff and oversee the kitchen on the mid-days, 10:30am – 6:30pm. This position is responsible for the overall direction and coordination of the dinner meal. Other duties may include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Will also serve as a back-up cook on the PM shift as needed. May drive to other sites as needed.
QUALFICATIONS: Must have a valid driver’s license and be Serv Safe Certified or willing to become certified.
Knowledge of food preparation in a long-term care setting is preferred.
