Part-Time Recruiter / Talent Acquisition Specialist
BSJ Corporation has a part-time opening for a Recruiter / Talent Acquisition Specialist to assist all locations in sourcing candidates.
The ideal candidate must be able to successfully manage and prioritize multiple position openings, will thrive in an innovative, fast-paced environment, can roll up their sleeves, work hard, have fun, and get the job done. The best candidates will draw on extensive knowledge of Talent Acquisition, preferably with experience in healthcare, long-term care or a similar environment.
Core Responsibilities
Recruitment
- Must be able to understand how to source and recruit passive candidates.
- Possess a strong ability to deliver a pipeline of both internal and external candidates.
- Continually seek new sourcing options and develop creative approaches to delivering talent.
- Develop creative and effective recruiting methods for both internal and external job posting advertisements and communications (job boards, internet research, networking events, employee referral program, etc.).
- Identify and participate in community activities such as job fairs, university events, industry specific groups, and special projects/recruiting initiatives.
- Work with hiring managers to develop an understanding of all open roles.
Applicant Screening
- Create a positive candidate experience throughout the entire recruiting process (for both selected and non-selected candidates).
- Ensure all participants in the hiring process are updated and well informed.
- Conduct outgoing calls to prescreen potential candidates in regard to qualifications, work location and schedule preferences.
- Explain compensation and benefit offerings to potential new hires.
- Recommend applicants for CNA or other training programs, monitor progress.
Administrative
- Track open positions and current bonus offerings.
- Maintain records for Applicant Tracking.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or associate degree in human resources or related field and at least one-year job related experience or equivalent healthcare / nursing home experience.
- Experience with sourcing techniques and strategies.
- Ability to proactively network and establish effective working relationships.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Working knowledge of employment laws.
- Must have the flexibility to work outside of normal business hours, weekends, etc. to support business needs.
- Ability to travel locally if needed.
