Newly Opened Mill St. Manor in West Salem, WI welcomes visitors at the June grand opening.  Features include 29 independent senior apartments, Pub lounge, free laundry, utilities, cable TV, garage option, secure entry, & personal emergency call system.	Thomas Rand, Executive Director is awarded the Life Time Achievement Award by WAHSA at a June celebration hosted by BSJ Care Center Staff and BSJ Board of Directors. BSJ Board President, Sue Schultz, shares a moment with guest, Sue Iverson, at the BSJ Board Alumni Social.	2010 Iverson Freking Ecumenical Recognition Award honorees Deacon Richard Sage and Patti McCauley were recognized at the annual event.	Staff from England's Frimley Park Hospital visit and learn from BSJ Corp staff.  Angela Lawes and Karin Cannons assessed programs while enjoying visits to the corporation's facilities around the Coulee Region.  The exchange is coordinated by Fred Kusch - JFK Associates in La Crosse.

State Senator Dan Kapanke and House Representative Mike Huebsch are warmly welcomed by Evelyn Ostrander of Melrose, WI to her apartment at Salem Terrace in West Salem, WI.	Dick Swantz & Dr. Charles Miller III enjoy the camaraderie during the Board Alumni Social.  Dick is an Iverson Freking Award Recipient & Dr. Miller is a former Board of Directors member.

BSJ Care Center Staff celebrate many milestones of service at a lunch with Administrator Larry Pupp, Executive Director Tom Rand and Board Pres Sue Schultz.	U.S. Senator Representative John Medinger & State Senator Dan Kapanke visit with Recreation Therapy Supervisor, Kim Scholze, in the resident raised gardens.	Residents are escorted to Riverside Park for boat watching and fresh air.
Oktoberfest Grenadiers and Festmaster visit residents of BSJ Care Center during a toe tapping, beer toasting, and singing celebration.	Harlem Globetrotters pay attention to residents at a recent Community Outing at the La Crosse Center.	Residents continue to be a part of the community.  Regular community outings are a highlight of the month's recreation therapy program planning.

Staff donate gently used toys and residents restore them at Santa's Toy Workshop.	The Therapy Dog Program adds special companionship.	Outings include time along the Mississippi River in the summer.  Marinuka Manor assists residents to keep active and involved in the community.
Marinuka Manor offers interactive games to help with coordination, dexterity and to add some fun!	Eden House Apartments are conveniently located next to Marinuka Manor.  Tours available.	Rehab services offer ambulatory skills, safety training, strengthening, and individually designed exercises.

Milestone birthdays are fun to celebrate with beautiful cakes and friendships.	Residents give back to the community and are joined by staff, volunteers, Kohl's A Team Family & school children to tie blankets for others in need.	Men's Fishing Trip  is enjoyed by three active gentlemen.  Community Outings promote leisure activities and a connection to the community.  Fresh air and fresh catch of the day.  What could be better?

Volunteer of the Year is celebrated by Admin Larry Alens and Executive Director Tom Rand.	Staff of OCC celebrate Spring Anniversaries with a lunch hosted by Administrator Larry Alens, Executive Director  Tom Rand & Board President Sue Schultz.	Placing an order restaurant style has given new life to the OCC residents' dining experiences.  Director of Nursing, Nancy Johnson, serves for the meal.
Summer Family Picnic held on the the festive grounds of the Care Center.  This annual event is well anticipated and is delivered in style by staff and volunteers.	June Lusk, Nursing Secretary, takes an order as part of the Resident Choice Meal Plan.	Volunteer Recognition's Theme of "Emma's Diner" played out by OCC's Recreation Therapy Department.  The Hoola Hoop contest was a fun part of the event attended by volunteers, Board of Directors, staff and the Executive Director.

Merit Centre's Adult Day Care  client concentrates on an enjoyable game of Bingo with staff member Bonnie.	Grand Opening for senior housing facility, Mill St. Manor in West Salem.  Staff members gave the grand tour to village officials, community seniors, board members, agencies for senior services and other long term care entities' staff.
WI House of Representatives' Jennifer Shilling receives a tour of Welcome Home apartments by tenants Don & Mary Winters.	Shelby Terrace assisted living is located at 2525 Shelby Road, La Crosse, WI.  It is located conveniently near the south side Shopko and Shelby Mall, restaurants, banks, schools, and bus stop.	Prairie Home plays host to the visiting Oktoberfest Festmaster and Royalty.  Music, dancing and singing were enjoyed by the tenants.
WI House of Representatives' Mike Huebsch (of West Salem) visits with June Hanifl of Salem Terrace.	Prairie Home of Holmen, WI is a unique combination of Assisted Living apartments and Independent Senior apartments.
