luncheon held at the Radisson Hotel.


Staff Milestones were celebrated at a Staff Anniversary Luncheon at Piggy's on Front in La Crosse, WI.  President Sue Schultz,  Executive Director Craig Ubbelohde, Administrator Karen Sepich., and Supervisors Arlene Harris, Sandy Strittmater, Patty Roberts and Jerry Clarkin spoke highly of their associates during the special lunch event in Dec.

The BSJ Board Alumni Social
 
offered exquisite cuisine prepared exclusively by Chef Chris Roderique of Piggy's on Front.  The evening was highlighted by special words from recipients of BSJ Corporation's services.


Eden House in Galesville, WI updated the apartments to offer full kitchen facilities.  Eden House serves seniors and those with disabilities and is located next to the Marinuka Manor.

BSJ Care Center offers a designated memory care unit called Avalon, a place of support and understanding
for persons with memory care needs.  The 24-hour skilled nursing care is in
a comfortable, safe environment where the focus is on the current abilities of the person. 

 BSJ Corporation is out and about in 3 counties and 6 communities around the Coulee Region.  The corporation serves meals to several senior housing facilities using noticeable, efficient, PT Cruisers.

BSJ Care Center Staff celebrate
milestones of service
at a lunch with Administrator Larry Pupp, Executive Director Craig Ubbelohde and Board President Sue Schultz in Dec at
Piggy's on Front.  Supervisors were
also in attendance to pay special
tribute to their employees.

BSJ Care Center's "Forget-Me-Nots" team raised a record amount of funds for the Alzheimer's Association Memory Walk.  Thanks for the leadership on the project Lori, Tracy, Julie, Kim, Lauren and Larry.

Staff donate gently used toys and residents restore them at Santa's
Toy Workshop.

The Therapy Dog Program adds special companionship.

Outings include time along the Mississippi River in the summer.  Marinuka Manor assists residents to keep active and involved in the community.

viewed the WWII and other
memorials.  It was a very special day.

Residents attend the local fair and experience the goat barn as an effort to stay connected to the community and all it has to offer.

Men's Fishing Trip  is enjoyed
by three active gentlemen.  Community Outings promote leisure activities and a
connection to the community.

Intergenerational connections are provided through the Westby Elementary School's 3rd Grade Penpal program.  Students and residents work on art projects together.

treats.  Many opportunities for volunteering are available by

 Sue Schultz and Administrator Larry Alens and their supervisors at Piggy's on Front.

Placing an order restaurant style has given new life to the OCC residents' dining experiences.  Director of Nursing, Nancy Johnson, serves for
the meal.

Summer Family Picnic held on the
the festive grounds of the Care
Center.  This annual event is well anticipated and is delivered in style
by staff and volunteers.

June Lusk, Nursing Secretary, takes an order as part of the Resident Choice Meal Plan.

Volunteer Recognition is attended by two dedicated volunteers along with Recreation Director, Stephanie Burgett.  The celebration was attended by volunteers, Board of Directors, staff, and the Executive Director.

of West Salem, WI opened its doors in June 2010 for independent seniors.  In June 2011,

Merit Centre's Adult Day Care  client concentrates on an
enjoyable game of Bingo with a
staff member.  Services offered
to clients are whirlpool bathing, diabetic care, medication assistance, medical support services and blood pressure checks.
