Oktoberfest Grenadiers and Festmaster visit residents of BSJ Care Center during a toe tapping, beer toasting, and singing celebration.

U.S. Senator Representative John Medinger & State Senator Dan Kapanke visit with Recreation Therapy Supervisor, Kim Scholze, in the resident raised gardens.
Residents are escorted to Riverside Park for boating and fishing.

Carole Plante and Paul Lang won the WXOW TV 19 & Dahl Ford Hometown Hero Award presented by Andrew Dahl in May.  The money award will go towards resident Bingo prizes.  Congrats!

Residents continue to be a part of the community.  Regular community outings are a highlight of the month's recreation therapy program planning.

Staff donated gently used toys and residents restored them at Santa's Toy Workshop.

The Therapy Dog Program adds special companionship.

Outings include time along the Mississippi River in the summer.  Marinuka Manor strives to keep residents active and involved in the community.
 

Marinuka Manor offers interactive games to help with coordination, dexterity and to add some fun!

Eden House Apartments are conveniently located next to Marinuka Manor.  Tours available.
Rehab services offer ambulatory skills, safety training and individually designed exercises.

Westby caters to it's seniors and is noted for great places to experience community outings.  Residents, staff and friends enjoy Old Towne Westby.

Residents give back to the community and are joined by staff, volunteers, Kohl's A Team Family & school children to tie blankets for others in need.

Men's Breakfast Group  is joined by Administrator, Ned Barstad, at a Westby restaurant.  Community Outings keep ties to the community active.

Physical Rehab staff assist residents with their therapy and recovery programs.

Individualized attention makes for sharing friendships.

Volunteers celebrate with a 50's theme at Emma's Diner
.  OCC provides a Recognition Ceremony for all volunteers each year.

Placing an order restaurant style has given new life to the OCC residents' dining experiences.  Director of Nursing, Nancy Johnson, serves for the meal.

Summer Family Picnic held on the the festive grounds of the Care Center.  This annual event is well anticipated and is delivered in style by staff and volunteers.

June Lusk, Nursing Secretary, takes an order as part of the Resident Choice Meal Plan.

Volunteer Recognition's Theme of "Emma's Diner" played out by OCC's Recreation Therapy Department.  The Hoola Hoop contest was a fun part of the event attended by volunteers, Board of Directors, staff and the Executive Dir.
