History and About Us
Onalaska Care Center was established in 1974 as a community facility by a group of interested citizens who operated it for years and is now owned and operated by BSJ Corporation.
The facility has an excellent reputation for providing skilled nursing and rehabilitative services for over 42 years. Dedicated and professional staff are committed to giving a superior level of quality care. Attention to individual resident needs and involving the family in the life of the resident continue to be a high priority for OCC.
Call anytime to share your talents and time with our residents. We’d love to have you join us by assisting our staff with a variety of recreation programs such as table games, reading groups, exercise groups, socials, special meals, parties, and big events.
Other opportunities include: escorting residents to and from religious services, singing, playing instruments, supervised pet visits, one-on-one visits, sharing a talent or subject as a guest speaker, teaching a craft or other activity, helping with community outings and much more.
